That said, the final act is still pretty tense and enjoyable and does little to eclipse the first hour.
A pretty pleasant crime comedy, with a strong central performance of Rosamund Pike. It's just a shame that the film isn't quite brave enough to serve a proper ending, messing up not once, but twice. It's not so bad that it ruins the film, but you'd be forgiven for thinking this was a remake of a recent Chinese film. There is a fun streak of dark comedy that keeps the film interesting, and there's a rather cunning showdown between Pike and some shady underworld characters (Dinklage was clearly having a lot of fun too). The film deserved a better ending though, and the editing could've been a little tighter, but all in all, this was a pretty solid film.Read all
