The most talented one of the two Scotts. His Hollywood fare is rather plain, but when given the proper artistic freedom Tony Scott is a force to be reckoned with. His oeuvre is rather polarizing, I clearly prefer the more experimental side.

Domino is loud, bold and in your face, but it's also fun and entertaining while staying clear from Hollywood's usual pitfalls.

If you're looking for a traditional action flick or you're one of those people who loves to complain about the MTV aethetic of modern cinema, leave this film alone.

A very nice surprise. Atmospheric, strange, a little experimental even. I've always wondered where Scott's crazy mid-00 period came from and now I know. Also props for the sound design, in combination with the editing it makes for a film that still feels quite modern and relevant, almost 30 years later.
