A deeply sad and empathic tale about a man who isn't entirely there. The start is quite frantic and nervous, though the film settles down somewhat over time. Kerrigan paints a portrait of a man who may or may not be left to his own devices, but regardless of his condition, it became impossible for me not to feel sorry for him. Damien Lewis' performance is stellar, the camerawork is intimate and the short runtime is a blessing. Both a very visceral and emotional film, which is a combination you don't see that often.
