Trash Fire

A dark comedy that starts out pitch black and gets meaner and crazier as it nears its finale. Bates Jr. has a real feel for uncomfortable cinema, Trash Fire is another prime example of his talent. While his work tends to be a little rough around the edges, it's a breath of fresh air in a genre that has softened considerably over the past couple of years.
