One of those films that was fun the first time around, but didn't stand the test of time. Reading back my original review, I already sensed that would happen, so I can't say I was all that surprised. There are still some fun and entertaining scenes, but some bits are also way too cheesy and outdated.

The special effects aren't that great, the jokes are a little lame, and the plot is a bore. Luckily, the action scenes remain joyfully over-the-top, and there are enough of them to keep the film interesting. It's a bit long and not everything works as well as it did twenty years ago, but it's still relatively entertaining. Just far from a personal favorite.
