When the end is a new beginning. One of Yuen Chor's final films is also one of Stephen Chow's first. Two legends of different eras in Hong Kong cinema cross paths, but the result isn't what you'd hope for. It's a generic and somewhat uneven mix of comedy and crime cinema, a film that only stands out because of its rather odd English title.
Lung is an undercover cop who infiltrated a local Triad gang. When he is found out he receives a serious beating, so much that he lost his memory when he wakes up afterwards. The problem is that Lung is in possession of 50 million HK dollars, to close a big drug deal. Both the cops and the Triads want to get to money, but Lung has no clue where it is.
Sleazy Dizzy is the type of genre blend that was popular back then, the problem is that the crime and comedy elements don't mix very well. Chow is funny, but he's the only one who seems to be getting the comedy, whereas the rest plays it more straight-faced. The finale commits more to the comedic side, but by then there's little to salvage. Basic filler cinema.
