Plot: Judd is approached to guard a gold transport through dangerous territory. He takes two friends with him, but on the road, they meet Elsa, the daughter of a puritan father. She wants to join them, but not everybody is on board with that plan. What Judd doesn't know yet is that his companions are planning to steal the gold.

A pretty standard Western from Peckinpah. With films like these, it's pretty simple: either you like the setting, the characters, and the stories ... or you don't. I fall in the latter category, and even though I have a small preference for the Italian spaghetti western, the genre as a whole simply doesn't do it for me.
The performances aren't great, the plot is pedestrian and the setting is terrible. There's nothing here that piques my interest, nothing that looks inviting or keeps my mind invested. The only thing that saves this film from an even lower score is that I've seen much worse still.
