Plot: In a future version of Berlin, the city is split in two again. This time both halves aren't separated by a wall, but by a mysterious crack where reality behaves differently. Four friends organize a search and rescue for their pal, who got lost in the crack. The deeper they venture, the harder it becomes to keep track of what is real and what isn't.

A live performance that was altered to become a movie. That probably explains why the film is quite dialogue-heavy, a bit too much if you ask me. It would've been nicer if they'd spent a bit more time on world-building, but considering the limited budget of the production they did a fair job.
I appreciated the maximalist take but would've preferred it if they'd doubled down on it. There are some nice visual effects and the score is proper, but it never goes completely wild. The premise is interesting enough and there's a real gem hidden away in there, it just lacks the little extra energy and passion you'd expect from a film like this.
