Plot: A group of people gathered on a boat. Some of them are upper class and enjoy a higher level of comfort, others are lower class and have to make due with much less. It doesn't take long before conflict arises, but Ki-duk takes things to another level when the people on the boat wake up one morning and find themselves floating in the air. Kim Ki-duk reinventing himself. Human, Space, Time and Human isn't a typical character drama, instead it's a violent allegory not quite unlike Aronofsky's Mother! Raw, unflinching and dark, but also intriguing, powerful and one of a kind. No doubt one of his most divisive films, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
