Plot: Cheng Xiazi is a blind swordsman who likes to gamble (a Chinese Zatoichi in other words). He takes on assignments for money but has his heart in the right place. When he comes across a woman whose family has been murdered by a greedy lord, he vows to deliver justice and revenge her family.

Chinese streamers are finally spreading their wings. Well Go USA picked this one up, and with that, it could potentially mean the floodgates are about to be opened. This film is a slight step up from the usual Chinese streamer fare, but other than that it sports all the usual, by now familiar traits.
The film is short, the action scenes are flashy and the structure of the film is pretty predictable. It's a clear-cut Chinese martial arts genre flick, it doesn't try to do anything new or out of the ordinary, it just does it exceedingly well. It lacks a little sparkle to make it a true genre stand-out, but if you're looking for something sweet and short in the martial arts genre, this one is a winner.
