Plot: Paul is a rather boring man who leads a simple life. He teaches at a local college and has a family who tolerate him. His life changes when he suddenly starts appearing in people's dreams. He goes viral and enjoys his moment in the spotlight until his dream self starts harassing people and everybody turns against him.

Borgli went A24 and moved his business to the US. The fact that he got Nicolas Cage to join his film was promising, sadly it plays like most other A24 films I've seen. It's all a bit kooky and weird, especially during the first half, but the plot felt uncertain during the second half, and by the time the film ended, it felt like a relative letdown.
The premise is interesting and mysterious, Cage plays his part with a big smirk, and most of the dream sequences are properly executed. Things start to fall apart when the film tries to touch on more serious topics. I don't think Borgli was the right guy for this material, but it's not a bad film. Just a little underwhelming.
