Plot: The film revisits Superman's origin story and adds a dog into the mix. Superman's dog gets jealous when his owner hooks up with Louis Lane, but when Superman and his empowered friends are captured by a crazy hamster, the doggo and a band of superpowered pets will need to save the world.

Take the quintessential US animal comedy animation, project DC's Justice League onto it and you have this dreary contraption. It feels like a DC gateway drug, made to appeal to younger kids, introducing them early into the DC universe. More a marketing ploy than an actual film.
The plot is dumb and the parallels with the Justice League are incredibly lazy. The comedy is dire, the voice acting is dull, the animation isn't anything special and there's way too much filler to bump up the runtime. My only hope is that Marvel isn't thinking about doing the same.
